Job Description:
1. Investment Analysis & Execution
- Support evaluation of new investment opportunities and pipeline deals
- Own end-to-end financial modeling and valuation analysis
- Prepare Investment Committee (IC) memos and Information Memorandums (IMs)
- Lead and support due diligence (DD) processes and reports, including identifying key risks
- Conduct detailed company and industry research
2. Fundraising & Strategy Support
- Support investment strategy development through market and sector analysis
- Assist in fundraising, including preparation of pitch materials and responding to investor data - requests
- Support fund documentation, structuring, and coordination
3. Portfolio Monitoring & Value Creation
- Track portfolio performance and key KPIs
- Own MIS and portfolio reporting responsibilities
- Assist in IC and Board materials
- Support value creation and operational improvement initiatives
4. Market Research & Risk Monitoring
- Conduct sector research (Healthcare focus)
- Monitor portfolio and macroeconomic risks
5. Transaction & Operational Support
- Support deal execution and documentation review
- Work on internal trackers and ad-hoc analytical projects
Eligibility Criteria / Key Skills:
Mandatory:
- 2+ years of experience in Private Equity / Investment Banking
- Healthcare / Pharma sector experience is required
Strong experience in:
- End-to-end financial model ownership
- Preparation of DD reports
- Drafting IC memos / Information Memorandums
- Demonstrated career stability (avoid frequent short-term moves)
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and valuation skills
Good to Have:
- Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment
- Portfolio monitoring / portfolio company exposure
Core Competencies:
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication with ability to present insights clearly
- Academic Background: Strong academic record; Commerce/Finance/Economics graduate; CA / CFA (pursuing/completed) or MBA (Finance) preferred
- Analytical Mindset: Strong financial analysis, research, and data interpretation skills; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Ownership & Work Ethic: High ownership, detail-oriented, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
