About the Role:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Analyst/Senior Analyst to join our Compliance team in Hyderabad. As an integral part of our global Financial Operations group, you will work closely with a team of attorneys and compliance professionals to ensure the firm's business activities are conducted in strict accordance with regulatory requirements.

This position offers broad exposure to the firm's trading, operations, and software development groups. You will handle real-time issues in a dynamic, constantly evolving regulatory environment related to the firm's expanding suite of global investment products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Front Office Support & Research: Assist front office trading desks by conducting thorough research on the firm's positions and applicable regulations for each asset class across jurisdictions.

- Data Analytics & Visualization: Deploy advanced data analytics and visualization techniques (e.g., statistical analysis, predictive modeling, clustering) using tools like Power BI to analyze complex datasets.

- Regulatory Filings: Perform complex quantitative and qualitative analysis to fulfill regulatory filing obligations regarding the firm's short positions and long ownership reports across the US, UK, EU, Japan, and other jurisdictions.

- Control Implementation: Monitor and implement controls designed to ensure compliance with global regulations by leveraging data analytics and visualization techniques.

- Information Barrier Management: Conduct thorough analysis on fundamental research data collected by trading groups through interactions with external industry experts to prevent potential trading while in possession of material non-public information (MNPI).

- Project Management: Assist with long-term strategic projects to maintain the firm's high standards of compliance with new and existing regulations.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

- A Masters degree in Finance.

- Up to 2 years of work experience in the financial services industry.

- Self-motivation and a results-oriented mindset.

- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and capacity to meet tight deadlines.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

- Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks (US, UK, EU, Japan).
