Position Summary

We are seeking Actuarial Analysts and Senior Actuarial Analysts to join our team supporting US Pension clients.

The role involves working on actuarial and financial models, preparing reports, performing benefit calculations, and contributing to high-quality deliverables in compliance with IRS and other regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop a deep understanding of the US pension system, IRS regulations, and specific processes related to the pension operations segment.

- Validate and update data in actuarial and financial models.

- Prepare and analyze actuarial reports and financial statements for US Pension clients.

- Share report observations and insights with internal checkers.

- Act as a liaison with onshore consultants to resolve data or project-related queries.

- Perform pension benefit calculations and valuations.

- Participate in and contribute to special projects as required.

- Responsibilities for Experienced Candidates (1-5 Years)

- Candidates with prior experience should demonstrate strong knowledge in the following areas:

- Actuarial Ancillary Services

- Preparation of AFTAP & Annual Valuation Reports

- Preparation of PBGC Government Filings

- Preparation of Annual Funding Notices

- Prepare signature-ready IRS Form 5500

- Work on Form 5500 Schedules

- Handle FASB / ASC 715 reporting

- Prepare disclosures under IAS 19R / US GAAP

- Knowledge of OPEB / PRM plans is an added advantage

Other Special Services:

- TV/Retiree Cash-out Calculations

- Age 70- Required Minimum Distribution Requests

- Support in special accounting calculations

Essential Qualifications:

- Master's degree or equivalent qualification in Actuarial Sciences

- Good understanding of basic actuarial concepts

- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment

- Must show progress in Actuarial Exams

Technical Qualifications:

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpretation skills

- Sound understanding of mathematics and statistics

- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.)

- Working knowledge of retirement tools such as Relius and ProVal (preferred for experienced candidates)
