Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to join our team as a Senior Accountant / Supervisor / Manager.
In this capacity, you will oversee the integrity of our financial reporting, ensuring strict adherence to US GAAP standards while managing the full-cycle accounting process.
You will serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external auditors, providing actionable financial insights that drive strategic decision-making.
By maintaining robust internal controls and optimizing month-end closing procedures, you will directly influence the fiscal health and operational efficiency of the organization, ensuring our financial data remains accurate, transparent, and audit-ready.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for executive leadership.
- Oversee complex reconciliations and journal entries to maintain the integrity of the general ledger in compliance with US GAAP.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff to foster a culture of technical excellence and professional development within the finance department.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities to facilitate seamless audits and ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Analyze financial variances and operational performance metrics to provide management with clear, data-driven recommendations for cost optimization.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrate deep technical proficiency in US GAAP, with the ability to interpret and apply complex accounting standards to unique business scenarios.
- Possess an active CPA certification, reflecting a high level of professional competence and commitment to accounting standards.
- Exhibit strong leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of communicating complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail when managing large datasets and multi-entity financial structures.
- Adapt seamlessly to a hybrid or remote work environment, utilizing digital collaboration tools to maintain productivity and team alignment.
- Hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting or Finance, supported by 5 - 7 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public audit.
