About the Job:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our dynamic team.
- This role is crucial for driving strategic communications planning by uncovering deep audience and cultural insights.
- Working closely with a strategist, you will be instrumental in executing research initiatives and translating findings into actionable strategies that fuel impactful campaigns for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a Senior Account Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Strategic Research & Insight Generation:
- Working under the direction of a strategist to define research objectives and execute comprehensive research asks.
- Compiling, analyzing, and interpreting information from a variety of research sources, including proprietary tools, syndicated data, and client-provided resources.
- Uncovering profound audience behaviors, motivations, and cultural insights to inform and strengthen communications planning.
- Leveraging audience data and analytics to support the development of robust strategic deliverables.
Media Landscape Expertise:
- Demonstrating a deep understanding of the evolving media landscape, with a strong emphasis on leading and emerging digital media channels and partners.
- Staying abreast of new platforms, technologies, and consumption trends that impact communications strategies.
Collaborative Planning & Execution:
- Collaborating effectively with internal cross-functional teams (e. , creative, media, analytics) to contribute to the day-to-day strategic work for assigned client(s).
- Actively participating in and helping to lead brainstorm sessions to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
- Translating strategic insights into clear, concise, and compelling presentations and recommendations for clients.
Client Relationship Management:
- Building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with clients, acting as a primary point of contact for strategic discussions.
- Understanding client business objectives and challenges to ensure strategic recommendations are aligned with their goals.
- Presenting strategic concepts and research findings to clients with confidence and clarity.
Thought Leadership & Cultural Acumen:
- Contributing to agency or client thought leadership initiatives, sharing insights and perspectives on industry trends.
- Maintaining a keen pulse on current cultural trends, societal movements, and emerging consumer behaviors, and - identifying their implications for communications strategies.
Project Management:
- Managing multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery of strategic outputs and adherence to project timelines.
- Overseeing the quality and accuracy of all research and strategic deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Master's degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in a strategic planning, account management, or research role within an advertising agency, media agency, or in-house marketing department, with a strong focus on digital.
- Proven experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research, data analysis, and insight generation.
- Strong understanding of media channels, particularly digital, social, and emerging platforms.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proactive, curious, and passionate about understanding consumer behavior and cultural shifts.
- Proficiency in research tools and platforms (e. , GWI, Comscore, social listening tools, Google Analytics, etc. ) is highly desirable
