Security Lead/Senior Lead - Gold Loan

Security Lead/ Senior Lead:

1. Physical Security Management:

- Develop and implement security policies for branches.

- Ensure the safety and security of pledged gold ornaments.

- Monitor and maintain security infrastructure such as CCTV systems, alarm systems, access control systems, and vault security mechanisms.

2. Risk Assessment and Loss Prevention:

- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments of branches.

- Identify potential threats such as theft, burglary, robbery, and internal fraud.

- Recommend corrective and preventive measures to minimize risks.

3. Incident Management:

- Investigate security breaches, thefts, fraud cases, and suspicious activities.

- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies when required.

- Prepare incident reports and recommend action plans.

4. Branch Security Oversight:

- Regularly inspect branches and gold storage facilities.

- Ensure compliance with security standards and operating procedures.

- Review branch opening and closing security protocols.

5. Vendor and Guard Management:

- Manage security agencies and security personnel.

- Evaluate performance of guards and security service providers.

- Ensure adequate deployment of security staff across locations.

6. Fraud Prevention and Internal Controls:

- Work closely with all Functional Heads.

- Monitor suspicious transactions and internal control weaknesses.

- Support investigations related to employee misconduct or fraud.

7. Emergency Response Planning:

- Develop crisis management and business continuity plans.

- Conduct mock drills for robbery, fire, natural disasters, and other emergencies.

- Train employees on emergency procedures.

8. Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with guidelines issued by regulators and internal policies.

- Maintain security records, audit reports, and compliance documentation.

- Support internal and external audits.

9. Training and Awareness:

- Conduct security awareness programs for branch staff.

- Train employees on fraud detection, cash handling, and gold custody procedures etc.

- Promote a security-conscious culture within the organization.
