Description:
The Head of Security is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of employees, assets, and the facility itself, including fire and safety aspects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Security Management: Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to prevent unauthorized access, theft, and damage.
- Fire Safety: Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, conduct regular fire drills, and maintain firefighting equipment.
- Safety Oversight: Oversee safety programs, including incident reporting, investigation, and corrective actions.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement mitigation measures.
- Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans, including fire, natural disasters, and other crises.
- Training and Awareness: Provide training and awareness programs for employees on security, fire safety, and emergency procedures.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Incident Management: Investigate and respond to security incidents, including theft, vandalism, and accidents.
- Collaboration: Work with other departments, such as operations, HR, and maintenance, to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
Fire and Safety Specific Responsibilities:
- Fire Prevention: Conduct regular fire inspections, identify potential fire hazards, and implement corrective actions.
- Fire Drills: Conduct regular fire drills and training exercises to ensure employee preparedness.
- Firefighting Equipment: Ensure firefighting equipment is maintained and readily available.
- Safety Audits: Conduct regular safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- PPE: Ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and used correctly.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Security Experience: Experience in security management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Fire Safety Training: Training in fire safety, firefighting, and emergency response.
- Safety Certification: Certification in safety management, such as NIOSH or OSHA.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze risks, incidents, and data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
