ROLE: SECURITY HEAD

LOCATION: MUMBAI (ANDHERI)

MANDATORY: ARMY BACKGROUND WITH EXPERIENCE IN WAREHOUSING / 3PL CONTRACT LOGISTICS

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Security Head to oversee the security operations across all warehouses across regions. This role requires the ability to manage security protocols, ensure safety standards, and provide strategic direction to the warehouse security teams across India. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a background in security management, and experience in managing large-scale operations.

SKILLS / WORK EXP/ QUALIFICATIONS:

- Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and International Crime Prevention Specialist (ICPS) certification required.

- Extensive experience in security management role, with a proven track record in large-scale security management and process improvement.

- Experience in logistics and transport security management, with a focus on command centre operations and incident management.

- Strong expertise in crisis management, risk assessments, regulatory compliance, and security audits.

- Proficiency in leveraging security technologies like AI in dock management, OCR, and video analytics to enhance security operations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead the design and implementation of large-scale, high-impact integrated security plans to meet business, technical, and customer needs.

- Ensure the delivery of efficient physical security, loss prevention, and surveillance solutions tailored to critical business requirements.

- Oversee the technical management of suppliers and partners, ensuring the smooth operation of security services.

- Lead the development and implementation of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans to safeguard the organization's assets and operations.

- Provide expert guidance and support to the country leadership team in crisis management, emergency response planning, and training.

- Develop and maintain contingency plans, ensuring business continuity during crises and enhancing national and regional situational awareness.

- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments across offices, buildings, warehouses, and transport facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

- Identify and assess country-specific threats, hazards, and vulnerabilities, and implement necessary mitigation strategies.

- Ensure integration of security operations with the broader organizational framework, promoting a cohesive security environment.

- Ensure all security operations meet regulatory and statutory compliance standards.

- Monitor and improve the performance of security processes and programs, leveraging technology and data-driven solutions such as AI, OCR, and video analytics.

- Manage and conduct multiple investigations with a systematic approach to ensure efficiency, consistency, and compliance with legal and organizational standards.
