Section Head - Tendering

Qualification - B.Tech (Civil) / M. Tech (Civil)

Job Role: Responsible for managing the processes associated with pre-bid, bid preparation and bid submission phase.

The role holder is also expected to compliment HoD - BD and Tendering in strategy, budget and planning related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure timely response to the name lending requests and finalize MoU.

- Hold project introduction meeting and ensure complete handover of relevant documents to user departments

- Ensure timely availability of pre-bid queries from user departments and justification to all the queries are provided

- Conduct or assign team members for the pre-bid site visit

- Evaluate and document technical, financial and operational risks and assist in finalization of risk mitigation strategy.

- Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of technical and commercial bids

- Prepare documents to be handed over to the user departments during PIM as per the document handover checklist on time

To analyse Lost bids :

a) To explore reasons for loss

b) To strategies improvement of winning ability .

c) To explore possibility of improvement in execution process to be more competitive

d) Collate critical information for all projects in respective sectors and prepare MIS report on a monthly basis.
