Section Head - Indirect Procurement - Mechanical Spares & Consumables

Role Summary :

Lead procurement of mechanical spares and consumables, ensuring cost efficiency, timely availability, and strong supplier base for uninterrupted plant operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Drive cost-effective procurement through strategic sourcing and negotiations

- Analyze consumption patterns and optimize inventory (min/max, safety stock)

- Ensure timely procurement and availability of critical spares

- Develop alternate vendors and strengthen supplier ecosystem

- Monitor KPIs, budgets, and supplier performance

- Collaborate with plant, maintenance, and production teams
