Role Objective: At Sebamed, a brand founded on dermatological science, we believe that motherhood is a qualification in itself. We are seeking an empathetic and authentic Social Media, Influencer & Community Manager for our Baby Care segment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development and Strategy
- Ensure Category sales delivery as per plan by formulating impactful social media content and geography strategy.
- Performance Analytics: Analyze content and campaign performance against core marketing KPIs (e.g., engagement rate, video completion rate, traffic to product pages) to continuously refine the scientific and creative narrative.
- User-Generated Content (UGC): Focus on generating UGC and testimonials that build trust and emphasize product safety and dermatological efficacy.
- Influencer Trust Strategy: Identify and forge deep, long-term relationships with credible parenting influencers, pediatricians, and authentic mom/dad advocates to boost brand trust.
Media Planning and Innovation Management
- Ensure timely planning, strategy development and execution of social media campaigns that boost brand awareness, engagement, and business results
- Relatable Content Creation: Plan, create, and schedule content (posts, Reels, Stories) that speaks directly to the daily experiences and concerns of new parents, highlighting practical solutions and the scientific integrity of Sebamed products.
- Trend & Platform Innovation: Act as the internal expert on emerging social platforms (e.g., TikTok, YouTube Shorts) and viral trends, quickly deploying branded content and campaigns to capture audience attention and drive conversion.
- Authentic Community Building: Actively manage and nurture the online community by engaging in conversations and providing empathetic, knowledgeable responses
- Oversee brand SOV in communities and ensure seeding in of right content as per emerging chatters.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Crisis & Empathy Management: Monitor social chatter for sensitive topics, responding with empathy and professionalism, and escalating serious concerns to the appropriate internal teams.
- Feedback Loop: Collect and synthesize community feedback and consumer insights for the marketing teams to refine selection and messaging.
- Brand Advocacy: Establish the brand as a reliable resource for baby care, emphasizing the importance of the pH 5.5 formulation to external stakeholders.
- Partner with creative and media agencies to drive successful communication while following compliance processes.
People and Culture
- Promote and embody the USV Credo
- Oversee right agency onboarding to ensure best social media output
- Conduct regular reviews with agency to ensure timely project delivery
- Leverage personal lived experience to foster an authentic and supportive environment for the community.
STAKEHOLDER INTERACTION
Type of Interaction: Internal
Interacts with: Category Head, Head of Marketing, Expert team, Q&A team, Legal, regulatory, finance etc.
Nature of Interaction: Routine communication regarding instructions, requests, and standard work tasks; replying to consumer complaints; and managing escalations; providing community feedback and insights to Product/R&D teams
Type of Interaction: External
Interaction with: Agency, Experts, Core Customers, and Retail Customers, creative and media planning, digital marketing, Parenting Influencers, Pediatricians, Mom/Dad Advocates, Online Community
Nature of Interaction: Planning social media strategy, looking out for trends, incorporating best practices, timely delivery of projects, daily assessments, forging relationships with influencers; engaging in conversations with the community; responding to queries with empathy.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Professional Experience and Relevant Skills
- Professional Background: 5+ years of professional experience in Social Media, Influencer Marketing, or Community Management for a consumer brand.
- Lived Experience: Personal experience as a parent is a highly valued asset that informs a deep understanding of the target audience and their needs.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, characterized by high empathy, warmth, and professionalism.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X) and social listening/scheduling tools.
Academic Qualifications & Certifications
- Educational Qualification: Must Have : Graduation , Preferred : MBA + additional certifications in social/ digital space can be an added advantage.
