Role Objective:
The Performance Marketing Manager will be the primary architect of Sebameds growth across Indias digital landscape. Your core objective is to drive high-intent traffic and maximize revenue across e-commerce marketplaces and our D2C platform. You will balance aggressive customer acquisition with sustainable ROAS/ACOS, ensuring Sebamed remains the #1 science-backed choice for Indian consumers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Performance Marketing on E-Retail Platforms:
- You will own the strategy and execution for Amazon, Flipkart, and the rapidly growing Quick Commerce sector.
- Marketplace Strategy: Develop and execute full-funnel advertising strategies for Amazon (Sponsored Products, Brands, and Display) and Flipkart (PLA, PCA, and VBD).
- Quick Commerce Mastery: Manage high-frequency campaigns on Blinkit, Zepto, and Swiggy Instamart to capture "need-it-now" consumer demand.
- Keyword & Content Optimization: Perform deep-dive keyword research and work with creative teams to optimize A+ content and Brand Stores for higher conversion.
- Bidding & Budgeting: Implement automated and manual bidding strategies to maintain a dominant Share of Voice (SOV) while optimizing ACOS/TACOS.
- Inventory Alignment: Closely monitor stock levels to ensure ad spend is never wasted on "Out of Stock" SKUs.
- Google Ads: Expertise in Search (SEM), Shopping, and Performance Max (PMax) campaigns to drive high-quality traffic to retailer or D2C website.
- Meta Ads: Execute precision-targeted campaigns using Advantage+ shopping, catalog sales, and lookalike audiecnes
- Retargeting & LTV: Build sophisticated remarketing funnels to reduce Churn and increase the Lifetime Value (LTV) of our existing D2C customer base.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Internal Collaboration: Partner with the Sales and Supply Chain teams to align marketing efforts with monthly revenue targets and inventory cycles.
- Agency/Platform Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for platform Account Managers (Amazon/Flipkart) and external agencies to unlock beta features and premium placements.
- Reporting: Present weekly and monthly performance dashboards to the leadership team, translating complex data into actionable business insights
People and Culture:
- Champion the USV Credo by consistently integrating its values into daily workflows and peer interactions, serving as a cultural benchmark for the team.
- Drive professional excellence by proactively identifying emerging industry trends and sharing specialized knowledge with the broader team to maintain a competitive organizational edge.

- Interacts with: Business Head, Head of Marketing, Head of Digital Marketing, Head of Ecommerce, KAM - Ecommerce and Quick commerce, Media Lead, HR, Legal & Finance
- Nature of Interaction: Routine communication regarding instructions, requests, and standard work tasks; motivating team members; and managing escalations, communication requiring diplomacy, persuasion
Type of Interaction: External
- Interaction with: Key Opinion Leaders, Core Customers, and Retail Customers, digital marketing
- Nature of Interaction: Basic explanation of products or services to customers and clients, as well as communication around escalated or complex queries with customers or clients
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Professional Experience and Relevant Skills
- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing.
- Experience in a fast-paced agency or managing a FMCG/Beauty brand is a must.
- Hands-on Expertise: Proven track record of personally managing monthly budgets of 30L+ across digital platforms.
- Analytical Rigor: Expert level proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio).
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with attribution modeling, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and marketplace analytics tools (e.g., Helium 10, Jungle Scout).
Academic Qualifications & Certifications:
- Primary: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Preferred: MBA from a Tier-1 or Tier-2 B-School is highly desirable.
- Certifications: Valid certifications in Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, and Amazon Advertising are a plus
