Director - Decision Intelligence (Data & AI-Native Consulting)

About the Role:

- We are seeking a results-focused Director of Solutions Consulting to lead our Decision Intelligence (DI) practice. This role is not a portfolio management position; you are expected to be a forward-deployed solver (fds), acting as both the founder and architect for our DI business unit.

- You will drive revenue-owning, outcome-delivering, data-informed transformation from first principles, leveraging AI-native engineering-led modern tech consulting. Your mission is to partner with visionary clients to disrupt traditional analytics processes and genuinely futurify their business intelligence, creating demonstrable value through actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

- Revenue and Profitability Ownership: Own the entire Decision Intelligence (DI) Revenue and Profitability stream, meticulously forecasting, rigorously chasing, and ensuring delivery of the DI BU's revenue and gross margin targets for your specific region.

- GTM Strategy Architect: Design, take ownership of, and execute a high-impact region-specific Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy focused purely on Decision Intelligence, Modern Data/BI Platforms, and Advanced Analytics to achieve market leadership and earn deep client trust.

- Strategic Technology Alliances: Establish deep, meaningful technical and commercial partnerships with Hyperscalers (GCP, AWS, Azure) and specialized ISVs/AI platforms critical for high-performance data ingestion, modeling, visualization, and real-time intelligence solutions.

- CXO Consult & Authority: Serve as the definitive "face of the Decision Intelligence practice" in high-stakes CXO conversations, industry forums, and roundtables, actively shaping the market narrative around data literacy, self-service BI, and insight-driven business action.

- Solution Architecture & Viability: Own the DI Solution Architecture, leading the design and technical viability of innovative Decision Intelligence and BI platforms, ensuring complex data engineering outputs are flawlessly translated into clear, high-adoption business action.

- Chief Data Translator Role: Act as the critical bridge connecting a client's most significant business challenges directly with our most intelligent, AI-powered analytics and real-time BI solutions.

- Outcome Delivery: Replace abstract "nice slides on data strategy" with "pleasant surprises for clients" by delivering working, real-time dashboards, actionable insights, and robust self-service analytics capabilities that drive demonstrable, measured value.

- DRI for Client Outcomes: Function as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for ensuring the intelligent, impactful, and high-adoption outcomes delivered by the entire Decision Intelligence practice.

- Extreme Ownership (Technical & Data Quality): Model extreme ownership over data quality, platform performance, and user adoption, maintaining radical clarity, technical integrity, and calm in chaos within complex, large-scale data projects.

Preferred Skills (Highly Relevant Technical & Domain Knowledge):

- Deep functional and architectural understanding of modern cloud data warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery, Synapse Analytics).

- Expertise in real-time data ingestion and processing technologies (Kafka, Pub/Sub, Kinesis).

- Proven experience building self-service BI platforms using tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.

- Hands-on experience integrating generative AI models or specialized machine learning outputs into decision support systems.
