Job Summary:

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic customer relationships in your assigned territory . Your goal will be to drive sales growth, ensure client satisfaction, and build long-term partnerships with key accounts in the food, agriculture, and diagnostic sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Client Relationship Management

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the region.

- Act as the primary point of contact for customers and ensure satisfaction.

- Sales & Business Development

- Achieve or exceed sales targets for assigned territory.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments.

- Provide product demonstrations, technical information, and support to customers.

- Strategic Account Planning

- Prepare and execute strategic account plans to expand business footprint.

- Work closely with technical and support teams to deliver customized solutions.

- Market Intelligence

- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

- Provide regular feedback to management for product improvement and development.

- Reporting & Documentation

- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts.

- Provide weekly/monthly reports on territory performance.

Key Requirements:

- Education: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biotech, Food Technology, or related fields. MBA is a plus.

- Experience: 10-18 years of experience in sales/account management in food safety, diagnostics, life sciences, or related industries.

- Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of ELISA, rapid testing, microbiological methods, or laboratory diagnostics.

Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong negotiation and presentation abilities

- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and planning capabilities

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 15 days/month within the region.
