About the Role:

We are seeking a Deputy Manager - Project Sales to drive sales and business growth for our projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in handling project-based sales, client engagement, and end-to-end project management. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.

The Deputy Manager will support the Sales Manager or Head of Sales in developing and executing sales strategies, building client relationships, and closing high-value projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Sales & Business Development:

- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities in line with organizational goals.

- Prepare and present project proposals, quotations, and commercial offers to clients.

- Conduct market research to identify trends, potential clients, and competitive analysis.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.

- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize business outcomes.

Project Coordination & Execution:

- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, and delivery) to ensure successful project execution.

- Track project sales progress, revenue forecasts, and deal closures.

- Support project handover to the operations or delivery team after closure.

- Monitor post-sale customer satisfaction and address any escalations promptly.

Reporting & Strategy:

- Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance, pipeline, and market insights.

- Assist in the development of sales strategies, plans, and targets.

- Analyze sales data and generate reports for business planning and decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA is preferred.

- 5-8 years in project sales, business development, or account management.

- Strong track record of successfully closing medium to large-scale projects.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and client needs in the relevant sector.

- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
