About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive Assistant Manager - Project Sales to support our sales team in driving business growth for projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in project-based sales, client interactions, and business development, and will work closely with the sales and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.
This role is ideal for professionals looking to grow into a Deputy Manager role in project sales and account management.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Sales Support & Business Development:
- Assist in identifying and developing new business opportunities and project leads.
- Support the preparation of project proposals, quotations, and commercial offers for clients.
- Conduct research to understand market trends, client needs, and competitor activities.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients and provide follow-up support to secure repeat business.
- Support the sales manager in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, and delivery) to ensure smooth project execution.
- Track project sales progress and assist in preparing reports on pipeline and deal closures.
- Ensure timely communication with clients regarding project updates, deliverables, and timelines.
- Assist in resolving client queries and escalating issues as needed.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project updates.
- Provide input for sales reports, dashboards, and management reviews.
- Support the development of sales strategies by providing market insights and feedback from clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
- 3-5 years in project sales, business development, or client-facing roles.
- Exposure to medium-to-large project sales and client interactions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
