Digital Marketing Lead

Role Overview:

- Lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of marketing automation initiatives using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to drive business impact for Schneider Electric India. This role requires a blend of hands-on technical expertise, innovative thinking, and strategic leadership in a B2B environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive cross-functional collaboration to align automation initiatives with Marcom ensuring measurable business impact.

- Identify and implement emerging technologies and AI-driven solutions to future-proof marketing automation and maintain a competitive edge in the B2B landscape.

- Own and execute the end-to-end email marketing strategy, including calendar planning, campaign design, and performance optimization.

- Develop compelling, business-focused email content tailored for B2B audiences to drive engagement and conversions.

- Oversee end-to-end management of the Cvent platform to ensure seamless planning, execution, and reporting of digital events. Continuously optimize platform usage to enhance attendee experience and support event objectives.

- Leverage SFMC to build, automate, and optimize multi-channel journeys (email, SMS, WhatsApp, etc.) for lead generation, nurturing, and customer engagement.

- Drive continuous improvement in open rates, CTR, and conversion metrics through A/B testing, segmentation, and personalization.

- Analyse campaign and journey data to generate actionable insights and present recommendations to business stakeholders.

- Develop and implement innovative marketing automation solutions, including smart tools, dynamic content, and AI-driven enhancements.

- Collaborate with Marcom & Business leads to align on automation initiatives with business goals and customer needs.

- Ensure data integrity, compliance, and best practices in all automation activities.

- Stay current with industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to keep Schneider Electric India at the forefront of digital marketing.

- Mentor and upskill junior team members on SFMC and marketing automation best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 6-7+ years of hands-on experience with SFMC (Salesforce Marketing Cloud), including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Analytics.

- Proven track record of designing, executing, and optimizing high-impact email and automation campaigns in a B2B context.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.

- Experience with A/B testing, dynamic content, and advanced segmentation.

- Demonstrated ability to innovate and bring new ideas to improve campaign performance and business outcomes.

- Proficiency in leveraging AI tools for automation, personalization, and reporting.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Tealium CDP certification is a strong bonus.

- Understanding of B2B customer journeys and sales cycles is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Tealium CDP certification.

- Experience with other marketing automation or analytics platforms.

- Exposure to sales and marketing alignment in large, matrixed organizations.
