Assistant Manager - Sales
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically adept Assistant Manager Sales to drive revenue growth, strengthen customer relationships, and enhance market share for our assigned business segment.
The role involves a mix of sales, account management, technical business development, and strategic market planning, with a strong focus on switchgear products.
Objectives:
- Implement sales and growth business plans through effective account management.
- Provide technical business development support and gather market intelligence.
- Drive continuous business growth by managing and supporting customers in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve revenue and sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Provide technical guidance to clients, recommending the best Schaltbau product solutions.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities, assess competition, and develop market strategies.
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth order execution and payment collection.
Requirements:
- Education: BE (Electrical) and MBA (preferably in Sales/Marketing).
- Experience: 8 to 10 years in product management or service within the Material Handling Industry.
- Strong knowledge of power electronics and switchgear products.
- Understanding of commercial aspects, including product costs, life cycle costs, and tendering processes.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical expertise in switchgear product selection, design concepts, and applications.
- Sound commercial acumen.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
