
Position Overview:
SBL Corp is looking for a dynamic, high-performing leader to head its Global Sales Team.
This is a mission-critical position designed to lead SBL's growth across global markets with a sharp focus on revenue expansion, customer acquisition and sustainable business development.
The ideal candidate must be a proven performer with the passion, energy and integrity to lead from the front and take ownership of building a high-performing sales engine.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Define and drive global sales direction, strategies and action plans aligned with business goals.
- Build market-specific GTM models that support both hunting and farming approaches.
- Design and implement scalable sales systems, processes and dashboards to track performance and pipeline health.
Business Development:
- Identify and convert high-value opportunities, particularly in international markets with a focus on the US.
- Develop intelligent prospecting frameworks and generate qualified leads through personal and team efforts.
- Build consultative sales approaches that position SBL's solutions to match client needs.
Team Leadership:
- Build the global sales team from scratch or scale existing teams with sharp focus on performance, ownership and accountability.
- Mentor and motivate regional sales managers, pre-sales consultants and inside sales teams to drive results.
- Ensure all team members understand their role in the revenue funnel and operate with a clear sense of purpose.
Customer Engagement & Proposals:
- Lead the creation of winning proposals with clarity, precision and impact.
- Personally drive C-level presentations, demos and negotiations.
- Work closely with solutioning, delivery and legal teams to create commercially viable and customer-focused agreements.
Analytics & Market Intelligence:
- Maintain strong pulse on market trends, competitor moves and changing client requirements.
- Adapt business development approaches based on insights and business performance data.
- Anticipate risks and build mitigation plans proactively.
Revenue Ownership & Monitoring:
- Take full ownership of order booking and revenue targets.
- Ensure a robust pipeline is maintained at all times through regular reviews.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in sales cycles across regions and teams.
Collaboration & Values:
- Work closely with marketing, delivery, product and operations teams for end-to-end alignment.
- Embody and promote SBL values across internal and external touchpoints.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, partners and industry networks.

- Deep knowledge of international sales, especially in the US market.

Preferred Background:
- Proven experience in IT/ITES/BPM/Technology or Consulting services.
- Experience working with or selling to US-based clients across sectors.
- Track record of achieving or exceeding multi-million-dollar annual sales targets.
- Strong network of business relationships and industry contacts.
Location: Open (with global travel as required).
- Experience Required: Minimum 10 years (with at least 5 years in a sales leadership/managerial role).
- Educational Qualification: MBA from a reputed institution (IT qualifications preferred).
