Senior Manager - Business Development


Job Summary:


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Manager Business Development to lead our growth initiatives and drive revenue across target markets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, managing client relationships, and leading end-to-end sales processes.


This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, relationship-building, and execution. As a senior member of the business development team, you will also contribute to sales strategy, market expansion planning, and team mentoring.


Key Responsibilities:


- Develop and execute a business development strategy aligned with company goals and market opportunities.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, enterprise clients, and strategic accounts.

- Build, nurture, and manage long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.

- Own and drive the entire sales lifecycle lead generation, proposal development, presentations, negotiations, and closing deals.

- Collaborate with marketing, product, and delivery teams to create effective go-to-market campaigns and tailored solutions.

- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new growth areas.

- Prepare business cases, ROI analyses, and sales forecasts for internal stakeholders.

- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and client meetings.

- Mentor and lead junior members of the business development or sales team, as required.

- Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.


Required Skills & Qualifications:


- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

- 8 to 12 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.

- Experience in [industry, e.g., IT services, SaaS, B2B, consulting, manufacturing].

- Strong network of industry contacts and the ability to build relationships at C-suite and senior management levels.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.

- Comfortable working in fast-paced, target-driven environments.

- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and business development activities
