Job Summary :
- Seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee project delivery within timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Responsibilities include risk management, client communication, resource forecasting, and team training.
- Must excel in agile methodologies, client handling, and people management, with proficiency in tools like JIRA, azure devops and Confluence.
- A pivotal role focused on enhancing team performance, client satisfaction, and achieving organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Project management
- Understand the project domain, technical aspect/preferences and clients expectations on timeline, quality from product/project (conveyed by pre-sales/ gathered by PM ) , companys expectation on investment of time, money and resources.
- Plan the project in a way where it gets delivered on time, with optimum quality, within budget, with adequate and right skilled resources.
- Identify the risks involved in project, prepare plan to eliminate risks well in advance, ( depending on situation ) convey the risk factors to clients and present him the risks and assure that they will be mitigated, this way set the expectation of client
- Similarly, the identified issues should be resolved with the best possible way available (e.g STAR or any other methodology)
- Proactively manage project timeline, quality, budget and resource allocation.
- Define DoD for each product, complete all the scrum ceremonies and share the lessons learned based on retrospective meetings.
- Propose the changes in process or people or approach based on lessons learned to production head
- Inspect and adapt improved and new processes as per the organization need.
- Manage project escalation at your level by the best way possible
- Forecast the monthly productivity percentage based on pre-scheduled work and forecast the availability of resources with their skills set to the sales team, and ensure that as a fallback plan resources training and skills upgrade are planned and assigned.
- Weekly audit the capacity utilization and find the under utilized resources and plan for optimum utilization
Client handling
- Delivery exceptional experience in terms of communication( single point of contact ), UX , CX and quality of product to client
- Write and share the detailed documents about project plan, revised project plans (at interval), sprint release notes
- Work with client 2 sprints well in advance for gathering future requirements/priorities, documenting product roadmap and keeping client on the same page.
- Analyze change requests , convey the impact of CR on total project timeline to client, coordinate with the sales team for revision on the total budget due to CR
- Ensure the preliminary checks done success of clients demo
- Handle clients objections or demands
- Spot the opportunities for upsell and cross sell and share them to the production head/ sales team
- Ability to convince and consult the client for emphasis on robust & scalable architecture, devops from product management perspective.
People management
- Ensure the team is allocated the right tools and training ( technical training, scrum methodology ) to perform best of their skills.
- Maintain the skills matrix each quarter and identify ways to improve skills, forecast the training plan to HR
- Review the need for for training, career path counseling, upskilling, certification, soft skills improvement
- Timely perform quarterly review and assign goals based on organizations goal
- Arrange technical events like hackathons to enjoy the learning in a fun way.
- Keep team motivated
- Work with tools like JIRA, Confluence, TFS, Github,Basecamp
- Attend daily scrum with team and send weekly status updates to client
- Generate and review timesheets after project completion.
- Review time logs of employees on a weekly basis.
- Send warnings for any discrepancy.
- Provide improvement points to HR for performance improvement of team members in quarterly performance review meetings.
- Monthly reporting of productivity of your team to the production head.

- Must have knowledge of complete SDLC (software development life cycle)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and develop the appropriate test approach
- Experience in handling large/mid-size enterprise projects and all phases of the same in web development/mobile development/designing/testing
- Experience in working in an Agile environment
- Should have hands-on experience with project communication tools (e.g Basecamp or Trello) and project management tools like Jira, Azure DevOps.
- Bachelor of Engineering is mandatory
