Your Mission:

- The mission of a General Manager in the travel industry is to oversee and drive the growth, performance, and strategic direction of operations within their region.


- They aim to ensure excellent customer service, foster strong partnerships, achieve revenue targets, and align regional initiatives with the company's overall goals.


- Through effective leadership and market development, they work to enhance brand reputation, optimize operations, and expand the company's presence in the travel industry.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

- Develop and execute the regional business plan aligned with the company's vision and growth objectives.

- Identify market opportunities and design strategies to increase market share and revenue.

- Analyze industry trends to maintain a competitive edge and adapt to changing market conditions

B2B Sales and Business Development:

- Develop and implement regional B2B sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.

- Identify and cultivate new corporate clients and business opportunities within the region.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing corporate clients to drive account growth and retention.

- Represent the company at key industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities to enhance market presence.

Corporate Client Relationship Management:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for key corporate clients, ensuring their travel needs and expectations are met.

- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with corporate clients.

- Address client concerns and resolve escalated issues to maintain high levels of client satisfaction.

Profit and Loss Management:

- Oversee the region's P&L, ensuring revenue growth while managing operational costs.

- Implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality or client satisfaction.

- Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and deliver comprehensive reports to senior management.

Reporting and Insights:

- Deliver regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and operational metrics.

- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.

- Monitor and evaluate KPIs to assess the effectiveness of regional initiatives.

Team Leadership and Development:

- Lead, mentor, and develop the regional sales and account management teams to ensure high performance.

- Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide ongoing feedback and support to team members.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team.

- Communicate organizational goals and priorities to the regional team and ensure alignment.

Team Leadership and Development:

- Lead, mentor, and develop the regional sales and account management teams to ensure high performance.

- Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide ongoing feedback and support to team members.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team.

- Communicate organizational goals and priorities to the regional team and ensure alignment.

Skills:

- Experience within the Travel Industry

- Strategic thinking.

- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial software.

- Strong Communication and leadership skills.

- Aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.

What we're looking for:

- Master's degree in Travels or related field (Master's degree preferred).

- 15+ years of experience from travel industry

- Strong knowledge of Travel and Tourism Industry.

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
