Key Responsibilities:

Travel Operations Management


- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure the smooth functioning of the travel and tourism business.


- Manage and optimize the use of GDS systems (e.g., Galileo) for bookings, ticketing, and itinerary planning.


- Ensure high standards of service delivery that position the organization as a market leader.

Supplier and Partnership Management


- Identify, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships with airlines, hotels, and non-air suppliers.


- Manage and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality service, and reliable support.


- Develop and execute strategic deals and agreements to enhance the organizations market presence.

Team Leadership and Development


- Lead, inspire, and manage a team of employees, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.


- Delegate responsibilities effectively, supervise team performance, and provide training to enhance skills.


- Act as a mentor and team leader, promoting a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.

Process Improvement


- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.


- Monitor workflows, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to streamline operations.


- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all aspects of service delivery.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting


- Conduct periodic reviews with management to evaluate performance against targets and strategic goals.


- Utilize Excel and other tools to prepare detailed reports on KPIs, target vs. achievement metrics, and operational insights.


- Present actionable recommendations to management based on data analysis and market trends.

Customer Service Excellence


- Ensure the highest standards of customer service, addressing issues promptly and effectively.


- Monitor feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

Skills:

- Aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.

What were looking for:


- Bachelors degree in Travels or related field (Masters degree preferred).


- 8+ years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.


- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.


- Strong leadership and team management abilities.


- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.


- Advanced knowledge of Excel for data analysis, reporting, and operational tracking
