Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Design and execute comprehensive business strategies across multiple geographies to drive revenue, market share, and profitability.
- Lead go-to-market planning, new market entry, and project-based expansions in line with organizational vision.
Sales & Marketing Management
- Lead a diverse sales team (300+ people) across 30+ countries with a focus on travel, tourism, and visa operations.
- Oversee revenue generation, product positioning, digital campaigns, and promotional activities.
- Launch and manage marketing campaigns to drive B2C and B2B customer engagement.
Channel Sales Development
- Build and scale channel sales networks, including B2B partners, resellers, travel agents, and franchisees.
- Develop onboarding, incentive, and training programs for channel partners to align them with company objectives.
- Monitor channel performance using CRM and BI tools, and resolve conflicts to maintain seamless partner relationships.
International Expansion & Alliances
- Identify new opportunities in Africa, Middle East, and Asia through market research and business intelligence.
- Establish strategic alliances with airlines, hotel chains, and government visa partners.
- Drive growth through subsidiaries like CarsInAfrica.com, Soegis.com, and Visadone.com.
Techno-Commercial Functions
- Implement CRM tools (Salesforce, Freshdesk), travel security solutions (iJet, ISOS), and mobility platforms.
- Handle contract negotiations, vendor management, pricing, and cost-optimization
Preferred Attributes:
- Prior experience launching visa centers or franchise networks
- Familiarity with car rental, corporate booking tools, or education travel
- Hands-on with Omni channel and e-commerce platforms
Desired Key Skills:
- Experience: Minimum 15-20 years of sales and marketing leadership in Travel, Tourism, FMCG/FMCD, or Telecom.
- Education: MBA in Marketing/Business or equivalent.
Skills:
- Proven experience in channel sales development
- Strong leadership and multicultural team management
- P&L accountability and strategic business planning
- International market exposure (Africa preferred)
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and digital transformation skills
