With a growing presence and dynamic expansion plans, we are seeking an experienced and passionate professional to join our team as Assistant General Manager - Sales for Airlines and Offshore Ticketing.

Key Responsibilities:


- Lead and manage airline and offshore ticketing sales across assigned territories, primarily in Africa.


- Drive revenue and profit growth through guiding and supporting the branch teams.


- Supervise and guide the team of ticketing and reservation executives in the branches.


- Manage and oversee travel/ticketing portal operations to ensure optimal performance and usage.


- Monitor and analyze air tickets sales performance, reporting trends, opportunities, and risks.


- Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, client meetings, and roadshows across Africa.


- Coordinate with regional offices to secure better deals and incentives.


- Contribute to the development of sales strategies and innovative service offerings.

Required Qualifications & Skills:


- 10 to 15 years of experience in the travel industry with strong exposure to airline ticketing and GDS operations (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, etc.)


- Proven experience in managing B2B sales in travel, preferably in an international setting.


- Proficiency in handling travel portals, booking engines, and online reservation systems.


- Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of airline contracts, fares, and ticketing rules.


- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.


- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Africa.


- Team leadership experience with strong organizational and mentoring capabilities.

Preferred:


- Exposure to the African travel market will be a significant advantage.


- Experience with offshore or marine ticketing will be preferred
