Role Overview:

As a SAS-Scorecard Consultant, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and validating credit risk scorecards using SAS. You will collaborate closely with clients, data scientists, and other consultants to understand business requirements, analyze data, and build robust scoring models. Your work will directly impact our clients' ability to make informed lending decisions, manage risk effectively, and improve profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop credit risk scorecards using SAS, ensuring alignment with client requirements and regulatory guidelines.

- Perform data analysis and feature engineering to identify key predictors of credit risk, enabling the creation of accurate and predictive models.

- Implement and validate scorecard models, ensuring their stability, accuracy, and compliance with industry best practices.

- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide expert guidance on scorecard development and implementation, driving improved risk management strategies.

- Document scorecard development processes and results, ensuring transparency and auditability for regulatory compliance.

- Contribute to the development of new methodologies and tools for credit risk modeling, enhancing the firm's capabilities and competitive advantage.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement credit risk scorecards using SAS.

- Proven expertise in data analysis, feature engineering, and statistical modeling techniques.

- Strong understanding of credit risk management principles and regulatory requirements.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced consulting environment.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
