Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Revenue Growth:

- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.

- Drive primary and secondary sales through effective planning and execution.

- Implement sales strategies to increase product penetration and market share.

Distributor & Channel Management:

- Appoint, manage, and develop distributors and stockists.

- Monitor distributor ROI, stock levels, claims, credit management, and performance KPIs.

- Ensure proper distribution network expansion across the territory.

Retail & Trade Management:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and channel partners.

- Conduct regular market visits to track product availability, merchandising, and competitor activity.

- Ensure high-quality execution of visibility, trade promotions, and market activation plans.

Team Management (If applicable):

- Manage and mentor Sales Officers / Sales Representatives in the territory.

- Conduct daily/weekly performance reviews and field coaching.

- Build a motivated, high-performing sales team.

- Market Insights & Reporting

- Gather and analyse market intelligence, competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer needs.

- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and business reviews.

- Provide insights to marketing and category teams for better decision-making.

Operational Excellence:

- Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and ethical standards.

- Coordinate with supply chain, finance, and marketing teams for smooth operations.

- Oversee execution of brand initiatives, product launches, and promotional activities.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 3-8 years of FMCG sales experience

- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing FMCG distribution.

- Strong understanding of GT channels, retailer networks, and trade marketing.

- Experience in territory mapping, route planning, and market expansion.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, sales reporting tools, and CRM systems (if applicable).

- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and passionate about FMCG sales.

- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

- Ability to work independently and handle pressure.

- Strong networking and interpersonal skills
