Role Overview:

We are seeking a high-caliber SAP Technical Lead with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale SAP solutions across diverse industries. This role requires a strong balance of technical mastery, architectural vision, and leadership excellence.

The ideal professional will drive end-to-end technical delivery in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business transformation objectives.

As the Technical Lead, you will oversee technical architecture, ensure code quality, manage a global development team, and champion innovation through emerging SAP technologies such as BTP, RAP, Fiori/UI5, and AI/ML integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the complete technical delivery of SAP programs across modules and business streams, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards and project timelines.

- Drive solution architecture design, development strategy, and technical governance in SAP S/4HANA and ECC landscapes.

- Provide hands-on leadership in ABAP on HANA, OData services, CDS Views, Fiori/UI5 development, and RAP frameworks.

- Collaborate with functional consultants, integration architects, and infrastructure teams to deliver seamless, end-to-end SAP solutions.

- Review and validate technical designs, estimations, and specifications for custom developments, enhancements, and complex integrations.

- Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization techniques across the technical landscape.

- Mentor and guide offshore and onshore development teams, fostering technical excellence and accountability.

- Oversee SAP system integrations using PI/PO, CPI, APIs, and other middleware tools, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange.

- Conduct performance analysis, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure optimal system performance and stability.

- Support project delivery through impact assessments, data migration planning, cutover activities, and go-live readiness.

- Stay ahead of emerging SAP innovations including SAP BTP, CAP, Fiori Elements, Event Mesh, and AI-driven analytics, advising stakeholders on practical adoption strategies.

- Act as a trusted technical advisor to solution architects, project managers, and clients on SAP best practices and digital transformation strategies.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Minimum 10 years of technical experience in SAP environments, with at least 3 full-cycle S/4HANA or ECC implementations.

- Deep expertise in ABAP, ABAP on HANA, OData, CDS, and Fiori/UI5.

- Hands-on experience with RAP, BOPF, and modern ABAP RESTful programming models.

- Strong understanding of SAP integration technologies including PI/PO, CPI, and API-based connectivity.

- Experience with performance tuning, debugging, and optimizing large-scale custom developments.

- Proven leadership in managing distributed development teams and delivering complex enterprise-grade solutions.

- Strong understanding of S/4HANA data structures, extensibility concepts, and migration tools.

- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

- SAP Certified Development Professional or equivalent technical certification.

- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), CAP, or cloud-native extensions.

- Exposure to AI/ML integrations, workflow automation, or RPA in SAP environments.

- Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines for SAP (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps).

- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.

- Background in Manufacturing, FMCG, Energy, or Retail industries preferred.
