SAP Sustenance Lead

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated SAP Sustenance Lead with 12+ years of experience in SAP application support, maintenance, and enhancement projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on SAP module knowledge, excellent client-facing abilities, and a proven track record of delivering stable and efficient SAP operations in a managed services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead SAP sustenance (AMS) projects across modules such as SAP MM, SD, FICO, PP, ABAP, BASIS

- Own the end-to-end delivery of SAP support services including incident management, service request, problem and change management.

- Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs and ITIL best practices.

- Coordinate with various stake holders manage 24x7 support and ensure continuity of service.

- Engage with business stakeholders to understand pain points, prioritize tasks, and ensure smooth operations.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, automation opportunities, and optimization of SAP processes.

- Manage minor enhancements, break/fix solutions, and patch/upgrade activities.

- Provide expert-level functional and technical guidance when needed.

- Conduct RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) for recurring issues.

- Manage client communication, reporting, escalations, and governance meetings.

Required Skills and Experience:

- 12+ years of SAP experience, with at least 5 to 6 years in a Lead role managing SAP AMS/Sustenance projects.

- Strong hands-on experience in at least one core SAP module (Preferably FI or SD)

- Good understanding of integration points between SAP modules.

- Experience with ITIL processes and tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira Service Desk.

- Proven experience managing various stakeholders and distributed teams.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Exposure to S/4HANA environment is a plus.

Education & Certification:

BE/BTECH/CA/ICWA/MBA

SAP certification(s) / PMP/ITIL is a plus
