
We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant to provide expert support and continuous functional improvement for our critical Logistics and Supply Chain processes.
While supporting a major ongoing transformation program, this role's primary focus will be ensuring stability, integrity, and operational excellence across the live Order-to-Cash (SD), Procure-to-Pay (MM), and Logistics Execution (LE) streams in a live S/4HANA environment.
Key Responsibilities & Support Functional Deliverables:
System Stabilization & Incident Management (Support Focus):
- Production Support: Serve as the Level 2/3 functional expert for all post-go-live issues and incidents impacting SD, MM, and LE processes.
Prioritize and resolve critical transactional errors in sales orders, shipping, billing, procurement, and inventory management.
- Inter-Process Integrity: Monitor and support complex intercompany flows, ATP (Available-to-Promise) checks, and batch management to ensure continuous business operations and accurate stock allocation.
- Integration Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot integration failures between Logistics modules and Finance (FI) teams, specifically focusing on invoice integration issues, discrepancies in goods receipt/invoice receipt (GR/IR), and data flow errors.
Functional Configuration Maintenance & Optimization (Support Focus):
- Configuration Control: Maintain and govern the functional configuration of sales orders, pricing, shipping outputs, billing, and procurement processes post-implementation, adapting to minor business changes and patches.
- Data Integrity: Execute and support data validation routines and system checks to guarantee the integrity of master data (e.g , pricing conditions, material master settings) essential for stable logistics operations.
- User Support & Training: Develop and update knowledge base articles (KBA), provide advanced user training on complex processes, and support business users with operational questions related to the live S/4HANA system.
Transition & Testing Coordination (Project Support)
- Quality Assurance: Coordinate and execute rigorous functional testing for system patches, enhancements, and roll-outs, specifically including regression testing and cut-over activities to minimize operational risk.
- Documentation Maintenance: Maintain and update comprehensive functional specifications (F-Specs) and user manuals to reflect the current live system configuration and best practices.
Key Requirements & Core Expertise:
- SAP Experience (Mandatory): 5+ years of hands-on experience in configuration and functional support of SAP SD/MM modules.
- S/4HANA Expertise (Mandatory): Must have functional experience providing support and stabilization for a live or recently deployed SAP S/4HANA Logistics environment.
- Logistics Focus: Strong domain knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycles, with an emphasis on system troubleshooting and operational stability.
- Preferred Exposure: Familiarity with the integration points and data flows related to EWM, GTS, and Transport Management (TMS) is beneficial for resolving advanced support tickets
