
Role Overview:
- We are looking for an experienced SAP REFX (Real Estate Management - Flexible Real Estate) Consultant to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in REFX processes and integration experience with FI/CO and other SAP modules. You will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and enhancing SAP REFX solutions aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather business requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and design solutions in SAP REFX.
- Configure master data and processes for contracts, lease management, real estate objects (buildings, land, rental units, etc.).
- Handle end-to-end real estate accounting (lease-in and lease-out) processes.
- Implement IFRS 16 / ASC 842 compliance and integration with SAP FI for lease accounting.
- Work on condition adjustments, posting parameters, indexation, and settlement rules.
- Configure valuation and cash flow management in REFX.
- Coordinate with ABAP, FI/CO, and PM/PS teams for interface and integration requirements.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operations post go-live.
- Create functional specifications, test scripts, and training documentation.
- Participate in UAT, system testing, and user training sessions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in SAP REFX configuration and support.
- Strong knowledge of contract management, real estate objects, conditions, and postings.
- Hands-on experience in IFRS16/Lease Accounting processes.
- Good understanding of integration with FI, CO, and Asset Accounting (AA) modules.
- Experience in full lifecycle implementations and support/enhancement projects.
- Ability to work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Nice-to-Have:
- SAP Certification in REFX or FI.
- Exposure to S/4HANA Real Estate (RE-FX) and Flexible Lease Accounting (FLA).
- Experience in migration projects from ECC to S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of SAP Group Reporting or Real Estate Portfolio Management.
Education:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Master's Degree or MBA preferred.
