SAP FICO Implementation Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Implementation Consultant to lead and support end-to-end SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) implementations. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, configure SAP systems, and ensure smooth go-live and post-implementation support. This role requires strong functional expertise, hands-on configuration experience, and the ability to work independently in complex SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and deliver end-to-end SAP FICO implementations, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live support.

2. Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP FI/CO solutions.

3. Configure SAP FI modules such as GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and New GL.

4. Configure SAP CO modules including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and COPA.

5. Support and implement S/4HANA Finance solutions, including system conversions and migrations.

6. Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements, including GST and India-specific localization.

7. Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and user manuals.

8. Support integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and HCM.

9. Assist in data migration, cutover activities, UAT, and post-go-live support.

10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide guidance to junior consultants when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1. 12 to 15 years of hands-on SAP FICO experience with at least 2-3 full lifecycle implementations.

2. Strong functional and configuration expertise in SAP FI and CO modules.

3. Experience or exposure to S/4HANA Finance (preferred).

4. Solid understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and controlling concepts.

5. Experience with GST, taxation, and statutory compliance (India-specific experience preferred).

6. Strong documentation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience in S/4HANA migration or transformation projects.

2. Exposure to global rollouts and multi-country implementations.

3. SAP FICO certification is an added advantage.
