SAP FICO Consultant - IT

Role Overview

The SAP FICO S/4HANA Consultant will lead finance process design, configuration, and testing across GL, AP, AR, and Controlling (CCA, Internal Orders) on S/4HANA. The role involves owning at least two full-cycle implementations, driving fit-gap, configuration, integration, and go-live support. The consultant will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with MM, SD, PS, and IS-U modules. A strong focus on system testing and validating finance-related business processes is required for a stable deployment and post-go-live operations.

Required Qualifications

- 8-15 years of SAP FICO experience with hands-on S/4HANA Finance

- Proven experience in GL, AP, AR, and Controlling (CCA, Internal Orders)

- Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP implementation projects

- Exposure to testing and validating finance-related business processes (SIT/UAT)

- Good understanding of FICO integration with MM, SD, PS, and IS-U

- Ability to configure, troubleshoot, and support FICO processes on S/4HANA

Responsibilities

- Lead requirements gathering and solution design for FICO processes on S/4HANA

- Configure and support GL, AP, AR, and Controlling (CCA, Internal Orders)

- Plan and execute testing cycles for finance processes (SIT/UAT), defect triage, and resolution

- Enable and validate integrations with MM, SD, PS, and IS-U

- Support data validation and cutover activities during end-to-end implementations

- Prepare functional documentation, configuration rationales, and user training materials

- Provide post-go-live hypercare and continuous improvements for finance processes
