Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to support and implement SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling solutions. The candidate will be responsible for configuration, enhancement, integration, testing, production support, and troubleshooting across SAP FI and CO modules.

The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge of financial accounting and controlling processes, hands-on SAP configuration experience, and the ability to work with business stakeholders and cross-functional SAP teams.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP Financial Accounting - FI:

- Configure and support SAP FI modules based on business requirements.

- Work on General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.

- Configure company codes, business areas, fiscal years, posting periods, document types, and number ranges.

- Configure chart of accounts and account determination.

- Support vendor and customer accounting processes.

- Configure payment terms, payment methods, dunning, and automatic payment processes.

- Support bank reconciliation and electronic bank statement processes.

- Configure and support asset accounting processes including asset classes, depreciation areas, and depreciation procedures.

- Troubleshoot accounting postings and financial document-related issues.

- Support period-end and year-end closing activities.

SAP Controlling - CO:

- Configure and support SAP Controlling processes.

- Work with Cost Center Accounting and Profit Center Accounting.

- Support internal orders and cost allocations.

- Configure cost elements and allocation cycles.

- Support product costing and profitability analysis where required.

- Work with planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes.

- Analyze controlling postings and resolve configuration or integration issues.

Integration:

- Work with integration between SAP FI/CO and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and HCM.

- Understand integration points between procurement, sales, inventory, and finance processes.

- Support automatic accounting determination and document flows.

- Collaborate with technical teams for interfaces, reports, enhancements, and integrations.

- Support integration with banking, tax, and third-party systems where required.

Implementation & Support:

- Gather and analyze business requirements.

- Prepare functional specifications and configuration documentation.

- Configure SAP FICO according to approved business processes.

- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.

- Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.

- Provide production support and troubleshoot critical finance issues.

- Perform root-cause analysis and implement appropriate solutions.

- Support SAP upgrades, enhancements, and system changes.

- Prepare user guides and provide training to business users.

S/4HANA Exposure:

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is preferred.

- Knowledge of the Universal Journal and its impact on FI/CO processes.

- Exposure to S/4HANA financial reporting and business processes.

- Support finance transformation and SAP modernization initiatives where required.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.

- Knowledge of GST and other applicable statutory requirements.

- Experience with banking interfaces and electronic bank statements.

- Exposure to SAP Fiori and S/4HANA reporting.

- Experience working in global SAP implementation/support environments.

- Strong understanding of financial accounting processes.

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

- Professional accounting qualifications or relevant SAP certification would be an advantage.
