SAP FICO Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

SAP FICO Functional Support:

- Provide L1/L2 support for SAP FICO modules (FI & CO).

- Troubleshoot issues related to GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Controlling.

- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial activities.

- Perform configuration changes, testing & validations for system enhancements.

India Localization GST & CIN:

- Manage configuration and troubleshooting related to India GST, tax procedures, and condition records.

- Handle CIN (Country India Version) processes such as excise, TDS, and statutory reporting.

- Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and taxation rules.

Cross-Module Integration:

- Provide L1 support for SD (Sales & Distribution) including pricing, billing, and revenue postings.

- Collaborate with MM and PP teams for integrated process troubleshooting.

- Understand financial impacts of cross-module transactions and dependencies.

Technical & Analytical Tasks:

- Perform basic ABAP debugging for issue identification and analysis.

- Work with technical teams to develop or enhance simple reports.

- Validate functional specifications and support UAT cycles.

Business & Documentation:

- Engage with finance stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.

- Prepare functional documentation, test scripts, user manuals, and SOPs.

- Ensure strong governance on change requests and incident management.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 7-10 years of experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI & CO modules.

- Solid understanding of India GST, CIN, and other statutory requirements.

- Experience providing L1/L2 support in SAP environments.

- Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging and simple report validations.

- Cross-module awareness: SD (mandatory L1), MM, PP.

- Strong finance, accounting, and taxation domain knowledge.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Experience in S/4HANA environments.

- Exposure to financial reporting tools or automation solutions.

- Experience in manufacturing or distribution domain
