Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented SAP CO Consultant with 7+ years of total experience, specializing in providing expert support, incident resolution, and root cause analysis (RCA) to maintain system performance and uptime. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 6 years of relevant SAP experience, strong knowledge of SAP Controlling components (especially Product Costing, COPA, and Material Ledger), and possess a robust understanding of core finance business processes. The consultant should be an immediate joiner (or 15-day notice) with preferred qualifications in Finance (CA/ICWA/CS).

Job Description:

SAP CO Technical Expertise and Configuration:

- Lead incident resolution and perform advanced Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for complex issues across the SAP FICO landscape, ensuring minimal system downtime and optimal performance.

- Provide expert configuration and support for SAP CO modules, including Cost and Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, and Profitability Analysis (COPA), ensuring accurate managerial reporting.

- Apply mandatory strong technical knowledge in Product Costing (CO-PC), covering product cost planning, cost object controlling, Cost Component Splits, and the configuration and integration of the Material Ledger.

- Demonstrate proficiency in implementing and supporting various manufacturing and sales scenarios, including Make-to-Stock (MTS) and Make-to-Order (MTO) environments.

- Configure and customize SAP FI and CO modules in the Implementation Guide (IMG) based on detailed business requirements, translating functional specifications into system design.

Financial Domain and Cross-Functional Integration:

- Possess minimum of 1-2 years of domain experience in areas such as Financial Bookkeeping, Auditing, Internal Control Processes, or management report preparation.

- Maintain strong cross-functional knowledge with FICO core areas, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).

- Ensure seamless Cross-Application Integration of Controlling/Finance with major business process modules, including Order-to-Cash (OTC), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Business Intelligence (BI), and Warehouse Management (WM).

- Conduct technical reviews of integration interfaces (IDOCs) and possess the ability to read and understand basic ABAP code for troubleshooting and technical specification discussions.

Support, Documentation, and Process Improvement:

- Actively capture complex Finance business requirements and lead their technical translation into scalable SAP solution designs.

- Identify and propose improvement opportunities in business systems and processes, driving efficiency and best practice adoption.

- Create detailed Work Instructions for interface monitoring, error handling procedures, and complex custom functionality.

- Work effectively in a team, demonstrating good team management skills and providing clear, effective support during complex project phases.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Experience: Mandatory Total Experience of 7+ Years, with 68 years in relevant IT/SAP FICO roles.

- Core CO: Expert knowledge of Product Costing, Cost Component Splits, Material Ledger, and the integration of Controlling with Project Systems.

- FICO: Strong configuration and support experience in GL, AP, AR, PCA, and COPA, with strong cross-functional FICO knowledge.

- Scenarios: Knowledge of MTS and MTO scenarios.

- Technology: Knowledge of S/4HANA architecture and exposure to implementation and support methodologies.

- Domain: At least 1-2 years of domain experience in accounting, auditing, or financial control processes.

- Communication: Excellent written and oral communication in English, coupled with good interpersonal skills.

- Availability: Immediate to 15 Days only.

Preferred Skills:

- Education: CA/ICWA/CS is highly preferred, followed by MBA (Finance & accounting) / M. Com from a reputed University / College.

- Motivation: Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a focus on problem-solving.

- Tools: Familiarity with modern ticketing and project management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
