Key Responsibilities:


Financial Accounting & Reporting:


- Manage end-to-end accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.


- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.


- Finalize financial statements in compliance with IND AS and IFRS standards.


- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records and reporting.


- Prepare management reports, dashboards, and financial MIS for leadership review.


Budgeting & Cash Flow Management:


- Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.


- Monitor budget utilization and analyze variances against projections.


- Manage cash flow planning, fund allocation, and working capital requirements.


- Ensure optimum utilization of financial resources.


Taxation & Statutory Compliance:


- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.


- Handle direct and indirect taxation matters including assessments, reconciliations, and audits.


- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.


- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and taxation laws.


Internal Controls & Process Management:


- Develop and implement financial policies, SOPs, and internal control mechanisms.


- Ensure adherence to accounting policies and compliance frameworks.


- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.


- Strengthen financial governance and risk management practices.


Team Management & Stakeholder Coordination:


- Lead and mentor finance and accounting teams.


- Conduct training and capability-building initiatives for team members.


- Collaborate with business teams and senior management for financial planning and decision-making.


- Support leadership with financial insights and strategic recommendations.


Desired Candidate Profile:


- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6-9 years of relevant experience.


- Prior experience in Shipping, Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or similar industries preferred.


- Strong exposure to IND AS & IFRS accounting and financial statement finalization.


- Hands-on experience in Direct Taxation and GST compliance.


- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, audit processes, and financial controls.


- Excellent analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.


- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems is mandatory.


- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ownership mindset.
