Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Technical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on Salesforce Administration expertise combined with solid business analysis skills to gather requirements, design solutions, and configure the Salesforce platform to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and Salesforce configuration solutions.
- Perform hands-on Salesforce configuration including objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, workflows, flows, process builder, and approval processes.
- Set up and maintain Salesforce org - user management, security/sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, roles.
- Conduct requirement workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process mapping sessions.
- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
- Collaborate with developers/architects to translate complex requirements into technical designs.
- Support UAT planning, test case creation, and defect triage.
- Identify gaps, propose process improvements, and recommend best-fit Salesforce solutions.
- Assist in data migration, reporting, and dashboard setup as needed.
- Provide production support and troubleshoot configuration-related issues.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong Salesforce experience (min. 6 years).
- Strong Salesforce Administration skills - proven experience setting up and configuring Salesforce orgs from the ground up.
- Hands-on expertise in Salesforce Configuration.
- Proven experience in Requirement Gathering and Business Analysis.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and automation tools (Flow, Process Builder, Validation Rules).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to write clear BRDs/FRDs and user stories.
Good to Have:
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201) or higher.
- Experience with Sales Cloud / Service Cloud.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Basic understanding of Apex/Visualforce/LWC.
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar for requirement tracking.
