Role Overview:
As a Manager Sales Operations, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and ensuring the seamless execution of sales processes that enable business growth. The role focuses on improving efficiency across order management, dispatch planning, and sales reporting while ensuring strong coordination between Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success teams. Ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, cross- functional environment, this position demands a balance of analytical thinking, process ownership, and execution discipline to support revenue and customer success objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day sales operations to ensure processes are efficient, consistent, and scalable focusing on invoicing, dispatch planning, and domestic/international delivery to ensure customer delight.
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership to define, monitor, and report on key performance metrics such as pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and order-to-cash performance.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics to support strategic decision-making, including business revenue tracking and freight optimization.
- Lead sales planning activities such as customer and resource allocation, stock-at-site management, and demand planning support.
- Partner with Marketing, Finance, Sales, Pre-Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment on revenue goals and business priorities.
- Identify operational bottlenecks, recommend solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain cadence with Sales and Pre-Sales teams to ensure timely monthly closings and accurate billing information.
- Support in gathering and organizing details for new products, samples, and related requirements in collaboration with Sales and SCM teams.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- B.Tech/B.E. in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 4 - 5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, or Revenue Operations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Solid business acumen with the ability to prioritize, adapt, and execute effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized, proactive, and committed to driving outcomes with accuracy and speed.
