Sales Manager - Shaoxing, China

We are currently hiring for the position of Sales Manager in Shaoxing, China.

The company operates in the textile sector, specializing in retail fabric trade and sourcing fabrics for the GCC market. The sales approach includes both direct sales and working with distributors, depending on market requirements and client preferences.

Please note, we are specifically looking for candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the textile/fabrics sector, particularly in sales and sourcing.

Key Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and sourcing within the textile/fabrics industry

- Strong understanding of international sourcing and sales, particularly with the GCC region

- Proven ability to manage sales pipelines, client relationships, and coordinate with sourcing teams

Primary Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage the entire operations of the China office, ensuring efficient sourcing, procurement, quality control, and logistics for fabrics being supplied to clients in Dubai.

- Supervise financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and cost management for sourcing and logistics processes.

- Maintain and grow relationships with clients and distributors

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, for submission to the Head Office in Dubai.

- Monitor expenses, and identify opportunities for cost reductions.

- Maintain and develop relationships with fabric suppliers in China and ensure seamless communication with clients in Dubai.

- Develop and implement business strategies to enhance sourcing operations, improve supplier negotiations, and increase profitability.

- Ensure compliance with local Chinese regulations, as well as international trade laws regarding sourcing and shipping.

- Manage teams across various departments (sourcing, logistics, sales), ensuring effective collaboration and productivity.
