
Role Overview:
As a Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving revenue growth by leading a team of sales professionals focused on acquiring new SaaS clients. Your day-to-day will involve coaching your team, developing and executing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with key decision-makers. You will collaborate closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer journey. Ultimately, your efforts will directly impact the company's market share and contribute to the success of our clients by providing them with innovative SaaS solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets within the Chennai market.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to maximize their potential and achieve individual and team goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts to drive adoption of our SaaS solutions.
- Accurately forecast sales pipeline and revenue to provide visibility to senior management and enable informed business decisions.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute targeted campaigns to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing sales teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and achievement.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in the SaaS industry.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of the SaaS sales process, including lead generation, qualification, and closing techniques.
- Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Adaptable to an on-site work environment in Chennai.
