Role: Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager (B2B Sales - Individual Contributor)

Base Location: Pune / Chennai (2 roles)

Experience Level: 8-13 yrs

Industry Segment: Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, Hazardous and Environmental engineering (any 2 Mandatory)

Yearly Sales Target managed: Min 20 Crores.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager (Individual Contributor Role) to lead our clients sales operations within a specific geographic area (West and South). Ideal candidate has built and converted B2B pipelines through direct customer acquisition and not via channel sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a team of sales representatives, expanding our customer base, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets in the assigned region. No Channel Sales experience please.

Responsibility:

- Consistent track record of Achieving & Exceeding Annual Sales Targets.

- Interacting with end client decision makers (Sr. Mgt/owners) independently.

- Must have handled yearly sales quota of min INR 20 Crores.

- Good Articulation skills of our value proposition and client requirements.

- Gathering market intelligence on key market developments/competition and reporting periodically to head office.

- Ability to travel (regional/domestic) 50% of the times.

- Ability to interface between client requirements and internal stake holders.

- Independently participating in trade fairs/exhibitions/conferences.

- Maintaining ISO Documentations & records

Key Skills:

- BE (Mech) with MBA in Sales and Marketing preferred.

- Proven sales experience (typically 5+ years), preferably selling industrial capital goods/projects to auto ancillary/aerospace industries.

- Good communication skill in English (written & verbal) and at least one additional regional language (Tamil or Marathi).

- Strong analytical & presentation skill with proven experience in closing long/complex sales cycles.

- Seeking professionals who have built and converted B2B pipelines through direct customer acquisition-not channel-driven models.

- Experience of independent handling of clients across different levels in an organization.

- Basic Knowledge of commercial / Inco-Terms / Letter of credit / Bank Guarantee

- MS office - Words/Excel/Power point is must
