- The Sales Manager (LAP) is responsible for driving loan sales, leading a sales team, and building strong channel and DSA networks.
- The role requires deep knowledge of LAP underwriting criteria, customer profiling, credit assessment, and competitive market practices within the lending domain.
Responsibilities:
- Drive LAP sales through DSAs, connectors, and partner channels.
- Identify and onboard new channel partners and expand distribution.
- Manage a team of sales officers and ensure performance against targets.
- Evaluate client requirements, property documents, and loan eligibility.
- Coordinate with credit, operations, and legal teams for loan processing.
- Track regional competitor activity and create strategies to increase share.
- Ensure compliance, documentation accuracy, and smooth customer onboarding.
Required Skills:
- Mandatory domain experience in LAP (Loan Against Property).
- Strong knowledge of lending practices, property valuation, and credit parameters.
- Relationship management with DSAs and channel partners.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in NBFC or banking sector.
- Knowledge of Home Loans, MSME loans, or secured lending.
Qualifications: MBA preferred
