About the Company:
We are hiring on behalf of a reputed and leading manufacturer of Diesel Generator Sets ranging from 10 kVA to 1500 kVA, with a strong presence in industrial, infrastructure, and mission-critical sectors.
As part of their expansion into the high-horsepower segment, the company is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead national-level sales strategy and execution for large-capacity DG sets.
Role Overview:
- This is a senior strategic role focused on high-value project sales and market development for DG Sets ranging from 500 kVA to 1500 kVA.
- The ideal candidate should bring over 20 years of experience in the power generation industry, with deep market knowledge and a proven record in generator sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead national sales initiatives and drive revenue growth for high-capacity generator sets
- Develop and manage relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, government bodies, and major industrial clients
- Drive key account development and expand the dealer and distribution network
- Work collaboratively with technical, service, and marketing teams for solution-oriented sales
- Analyze market trends, pricing, and competition within the high-horsepower genset segment
- Report strategic inputs and performance updates to senior leadership.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business, MBA preferred
- Minimum 20 years of experience in DG set sales, specifically in the 500 to 1500 kVA segment
- Strong leadership qualities, client management, and negotiation skills
- Excellent understanding of generator systems and power sector dynamics
- Willingness to travel extensively for business development
