Sales Manager Gold Loan


Job Description:


We are hiring a results-driven Sales Manager Gold Loan to lead and expand our gold loan business operations.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, developing new customer relationships, overseeing the gold loan process, and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.


This is a field-intensive, customer-facing role with a strong focus on achieving growth targets in the secured lending space.


Key Responsibilities:

- Drive gold loan business development through direct sales, cross-selling, and local marketing campaigns.

- Generate leads through field visits, customer referrals, channel partners, and walk-ins.

- Manage the entire gold loan lifecycle, including lead generation, assessment, appraisal, documentation, disbursement, and collection follow-ups.

- Ensure thorough valuation and safe handling of gold assets with proper adherence to company SOPs.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to drive loyalty and repeat business.

- Monitor the portfolio quality, minimizing delinquency and ensuring timely interest collections.

- Coordinate with credit and operations teams for quick loan approvals and smooth disbursement.

- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed of market trends and pricing strategies.

- Ensure regulatory and policy compliance with RBI norms and internal audit procedures.

- Mentor and manage a small team (if applicable), ensuring daily productivity and performance alignment.


Key Skills and Competencies:


- Strong knowledge of gold loan processes, valuation, and risk management.

- Proven sales and target achievement record in the NBFC/BFSI industry.

- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.

- Good understanding of KYC norms, lending documentation, and RBI regulations related to gold loans.

- Effective team management, planning, and organizational capabilities.

- Proficient in using MS Office, CRM systems, and loan management tools.


Educational Qualifications:


- Preferred: MBA/PGDM in Finance, Marketing, or related specialization.


Preferred Experience:


- 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in gold loan or secured lending with banks, NBFCs, or microfinance institutions.

- Experience in retail branch banking, field sales, or managing gold loan centers.

- Knowledge of local market conditions and ability to generate business independently is an added advantage
