Job Summary:
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and objectives.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the sales process, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in a sales environment.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and organized individual with an MBA and 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Set and manage sales targets, quotas, and performance metrics for the sales team.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify new opportunities and areas for
improvement.
- Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a smooth and
efficient process.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members to enhance their skills and
performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to help team
members grow professionally.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that encourages accountability and a strong work ethic.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex sales situations.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Utilize CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track sales activities, manage pipelines, and generate reports.
- Monitor competitor activities and market conditions to stay ahead of the curve.
Collaboration:
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: Master of Business Administration (MBA) is required.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a sales role, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or management position.
Skills:
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of the sales process and sales methodologies.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
