About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven professional to join our team as a Sales Manager - Distribution. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for amplifying our distribution growth across various channels, including IFAs, national distributors, banks, and wealth managers. You will be a key driver of sales, product penetration, and AUM growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner Relationship Management: Nurture and expand relationships with key partners through regular engagement, calls, emails, and on-site visits to address their needs, provide updates, and deepen product penetration.
- Product Training & Enablement: Conduct engaging product presentations and training sessions. Share fund performance insights, market trends, and strategy updates to empower partners.
- Sales Performance & Pipeline Management: Take ownership of sales targets for assigned territories and channels. Actively track sales pipelines, compile performance reports, and identify new growth opportunities.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure strict adherence to SEBI regulations and internal compliance standards. Assist partners with application and documentation processes to streamline operations.
- CRM & Administration: Maintain detailed CRM records of all partner interactions, feedback, and activities. Support the preparation and distribution of sales collateral.
Skills & Competencies:
- Financial Knowledge: A must-have understanding of financial products, including AIFs, mutual funds, and market investment concepts.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, along with proficiency in Hindi, Marathi, or Gujarati.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM software.
- Personal Attributes: A self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable individual with strong problem-solving abilities.
Education & Experience:
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or a related field is required. An MBA is a plus.
Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in financial services sales, including mutual funds, broking, banking, or wealth management. Candidates with strong aptitude and a proven track record of HNI/UHNI acquisition and AIF sales are highly preferred. Freshers with a strong aptitude will also be considered.
