Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies and objectives for acquiring new LCL business and
expanding market presence.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through continuous engagement with prospective customers and in-depth analysis of local market dynamics.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Local Field Sales, Inside Sales, Area Sales Managers (ASM), Key Account Managers (KAM IN), Head of Sales, and Head of Ocean Product to grow existing clients and onboard new accounts.
- Promote LCL products and initiatives across the organization and to customers, ensuring strong visibility and adoption.
- Create customized sales and product presentations tailored to regional and customer-specific requirements on a PAN-India basis.
- Equip sales teams with the necessary LCL product tools, including training programs, marketing campaigns, pitch decks, and standard presentations.
- Proactively engage with local sales teams and KAMs to ensure consistent focus on LCL business development.
- Identify knowledge gaps related to LCL products within regions and actively support capability building and skill enhancement.
- Work closely with branch product heads, branch heads, and the head of sales to provide comprehensive, end-to-end customer support and alignment.
Requirements:
Qualification:
- Graduate or Post Graduate(Bachelors degree mandatory)
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
Industry Background:
- Freight Forwarding / Logistics
Functional Expertise:
- Strong experience in LCL sales within Air & Sea freight
- Proven capability in new business development and key account management
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills
Role Nature:
- Individual Contributor (IC) role (no team management)
