The Role:
We are looking for a Sales Lead to drive Clients growth by acquiring new clients, deepening relationships with existing clients, and enabling adoption of our platform across exporters and importers. This role is ideal for someone with strong consultative B2B sales experience and a passion for international trade and fintech.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify, target, and onboard new exporters, importers, and SMEs needing cross-border trade solutions.
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire high-value clients in the B2B segment.
Consultative & Solution Selling
- Understand client business models, international trade flows, payment needs, and pain points.
- Position Clients offerings (cross-border payments, FX, trade-finance, export documentation, and banking solutions) as tailored solutions.
Revenue Growth & Target Achievement
- Achieve defined sales/revenue/transaction-volume targets.
- Upsell and cross-sell Client's services to existing clients to maximize wallet share.
Client Relationship Management
- Build long-term partnerships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their trade and finance needs.
- Maintain regular engagement to ensure platform adoption and customer satisfaction.
Collaboration & Feedback
- Work closely with Operations, Compliance, and Product teams to facilitate smooth onboarding and transactions.
- Provide market and client feedback to help refine products and services.
Compliance & Documentation Support
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure KYC/KYB, export-import documentation, and regulatory compliance are handled efficiently.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- 5-8 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in fintech, trade-finance, exports/imports, or corporate banking.
- Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills; experience managing large accounts.
- Understanding of cross-border payments, forex, trade-finance, or export/import processes.
- Comfortable engaging with C-level executives, CFOs, finance heads, and SMEs.
- Track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams (Operations, Compliance, Product) and manage complex client requirements.
- Analytical mindset to understand client needs and propose structured solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
