Description

The Sales Lead will play a crucial role in expanding our client base and driving adoption of our AI-powered software solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 46 years of experience selling software solutions to financial institutions or corporates to grow into a leadership role.

Were looking for a high-performing sales professional ready to take the next step evolving from top individual contributor to team leader. The Sales Lead will both drive their own pipeline and mentor a small team, helping build the foundation for a scalable, high-performing sales organization.

Key Responsibilities

In Individual Capacity:

- Manage your own sales pipeline from prospecting to closing deals.

- Identify and pursue new opportunities within target markets and key accounts.

- Deliver on individual sales targets and contribute to team revenue goals.

- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through consultative selling.

As a Lead:

- Lead by example: demonstrate best practices in pipeline management, outreach, and deal execution.

- Support other sales team members with coaching, feedback, and deal strategy.

- Help recruit, onboard, and train new team members as the team scales.

- Foster a collaborative, goal-oriented team culture built on accountability and trust.

Overall:

- Contribute to the development of sales playbooks, processes, and KPIs.

- Track and analyze sales metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

- 46 years of experience in enterprise or B2B software sales (finance domain preferred).

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with senior and junior stakeholders.

- Strong experience with CRM tools and data-driven decision making.

- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.

- MBA from a premier institution (IIM, ISB, XLRI, FMS, SPJIMR, etc.) preferred, with an engineering undergraduate background.
